Training Course - Digital Data Awareness Training

Acquire the knowledge, skills, and confidence to exploit digital opportunities and effectively interpret the resultant data through an exploration of the theory, processes, and examination of real datasets.

Communications between persons of interest can now be facilitated in many more ways other than just traditional telephony and SMS messaging. In the last decade, with the advent of the smart phone, the variety of communication methods available has exponentially increased. The opportunities offered by wider digital forensics are increasingly important and when examined and interpreted can be a surprisingly rich source of data.

This course has been designed to improve knowledge and awareness of the broad range of opportunities offered by wider digital forensics by providing a through an understanding of the underpinning theory of how communication methods have evolved. Instruction is given on smart devices, IP addressing, domain names, Wi-Fi, and a high-level overview of DHCP logs.

The course has been designed and is delivered by an acknowledged subject matter expert in the Wi-Fi arena with an extensive law enforcement background.
