Supporting Nottinghamshire police in a murder investigation

In a murder case in Nottingham, CSAS helped police to convict 5 individuals for their involvement in a stabbing attack on a 17 year old male.

  • Taking control of the data

CSAS was used for parsing and analysing the data of the five defendents’ phones, assisting police in survey planning and report compilation.
  • Gaining evidential outputs

CSAS outputs were used in court during cross examination by the five sets of defence counsel to answer questions and avoid delays.
  • Achieving a positive result

All five defendants were convicted for their part in the killing. They were sentenced to a combined total of 58 years in prison.
