Purpose and Scope

The purpose of this document is to outline Forensic Analytics commitment to continually improve our environmental performance and effectively manage our significant environmental impacts.

Target Audience

This Policy applies to all Forensic Analytics Employees and contracted resources.

Responsibilities

This document is the responsibility of the HR Manager in conjunction with the Quality and Compliance Team.

All Forensic Analytics employees are required to adhere to the principles of this policy and to commit to sustained environmental improvement.

Policy

Forensic Analytics Limited is committed to leading the industry in minimising the impact of its activities on the environment. The organisation will fulfil its environmental commitment by:

  • Complying with all applicable legal environmental requirements.

  • Assessing the environmental risks and operating the business in a way that ensures prevention of pollution through the application of economically viable, best available environmental practices.

  • Assessing and wherever possible reducing the environmental impact of business operations in line with Corporate Social Responsibility, including by proactively reducing travel emissions?

  • Actively managing and monitoring waste streams, seeking waste reduction wherever possible.

  • Engaging with suppliers for sustainable sourcing of products, services, and environmental commitment for improving end to end environmental performance.

In support of the commitment Forensic Analytics will seek to:

  • Minimise waste by evaluating operations and ensuring they are as efficient as possible.

  • Source and promote a product range to minimise the environmental impact of both production and distribution.

  • Manage waste generated from our business operations incorporating reduction, re-use and recycling in accordance with the principles of the waste hierarchy.

  • Assess, monitor and work with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure environmental performance is not jeopardised.

  • Through all quality management activity to use internal audits and other checks as appropriate to ensure the environmental system continues to evolve, to ensure problems are investigated promptly, any root cause established, and effective action taken to prevent a recurrence.

  • Seek to further develop environmental systems and to continually seek improvement in overall environmental effectiveness.

  • Provide employees with suitable training and knowledgeable to provide opportunity for environmental performance improvement.

  • Engage and work with all stakeholders to seek overall environmental improvement.

  • Partnership with OnHand to encourage and engage employees in volunteering and environmental action.

The Chief Executive is ultimately responsible for ensuring this environmental policy is implemented and also designates this authority to the Head of HR and Quality and Compliance team. However, all employees have a responsibility in their area to ensure the aims and objectives of this policy and Forensic Analytics compliance obligations are met.
