Training Course

Training Course - CDR Processing & Interpretation

Master the requisite skillset to process (or cleanse) and interpret Call Detail Records (CDRs) with accuracy and confidence and in preparation for accurate analysis. This course sets the standard in CDR processing and interpretation for Law Enforcement practitioners.

This course has been designed to improve the practitioner skillset in dealing with raw communications data by providing an in-depth exploration of the value and relevance of communications data, how cellular networks operate and how and where call detail records (CDRs) are captured. Instruction is given on the meaning and relevance of CDR fields and explore the investigative benefits that an understanding of the data can provide. Current CDR formats are examined in detail and exercises are undertaken that offer practical experience of the concepts and techniques required to process (or ‘cleanse’) and normalise CDRs into a standardised format ready for analysis.

This course has been developed and is delivered by telecommunication experts and former Intelligence Analysts with deep practical experience of communications data and manual CDR cleansing.
