CSAS V3.14 is here and introduces powerful new features and enhancements designed to improve your capabilities in investigations. With this update, you’ll benefit from improved performance, a streamlined user experience, and additional data format support, allowing you to uncover critical insights even faster. Read on for a summary of what to expect from the new release.

Concurrent Calls Query: Identify overlapping communications

The new Concurrent Calls Query feature helps investigators to identify simultaneous or overlapping phone calls. This intuitive tool helps uncover patterns of "clean phone/dirty phone" usage by comparing records from two distinct phone groups. By simply selecting data files and assigning them to different groups, users can instantly see overlapping calls, with the ability to drill down into the data and map key locations.

Attributions: A more intuitive approach

We’ve reworked the Attributions feature to make managing case identifiers more intuitive. The updated layout simplifies the process of linking identifiers to your data sources. You can now:

  • Link contact lists from handset extractions

  • Import attribution lists from external files or spreadsheets

  • Add missing identifiers

  • Use colour-coding to highlight key phones

Feature and performance enhancements

CSAS V3.14 also includes several performance improvements designed to boost productivity:

Hybrid Mode Improvements: Case uploads and downloads are now faster, allowing you to work more efficiently in Hybrid mode. We recommend using Local mode when possible to maximise the speed benefits.

Enhanced Data Import: Support for new data formats has been added for multiple service providers across the UK and North America. This ensures compatibility with a wider range of digital evidence sources.

Case Hub and mapping enhancements: New updates include a Legend feature in Heat Map mode, enhanced ANPR icons and Snapshots.

We look forward to hearing how our latest features help you work faster and smarter. You can find the full release notes for CSAS V3.14 on our Customer Portal or for more information, please contact your Account Manager
